Paradeep Parivahan Wins 10-Year EV Truck Contract From JSW Group
Paradeep Parivahan has secured a 10-year contract from JSW Group to deploy 100 electric heavy-duty trucks for transporting clinker and slag between Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, and Vijayanagar, Karnataka. The agreement covers approximately 125,000 metric tonnes of cargo monthly, strengthening the use of electric trucks in industrial logistics. The financial value of the contract remains undisclosed.
JBM Auto Q2 FY27 Results: Revenue Rises 21.06%, Net Profit Up 12.46%
JBM Auto reported a 21.06% year-on-year revenue growth to ₹1,656.37 crore and a 12.46% rise in net profit to ₹58.76 crore in Q2 FY27. Its auto components and EV revenues grew 24.68% and 21.84%, respectively. The company crossed 4,000 electric buses on Indian roads, delivered 578 buses during the quarter and maintained approximately 24% EV market share in H1 FY27.
Blue Energy Motors Opens Bhiwandi’s First Electric Heavy-Duty Truck Battery-Swap Station with HPCL
Blue Energy Motors and HPCL have operationalised Bhiwandi’s first electric heavy-duty truck battery-swapping station, enabling battery replacement in under five minutes. The facility strengthens the Mumbai-Pune Electric Freight Corridor and also offers public EV charging. BEM operates over 1,400 green trucks, covering more than 150 million kilometres and helping avoid over 44,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Amazon and Tata Motors to Deploy 3,000 Electric Trucks Across India
Amazon and Tata Motors have partnered to deploy 3,000 electric trucks across India, beginning with Delhi during the 2026 festive season. The rollout will expand to the 2,800-km Delhi-Bengaluru-Chennai corridor. The Tata Ultra E.7 features CCS2 fast charging, an integrated e-axle and regenerative braking. The initiative aims to strengthen green logistics, reduce emissions and accelerate electric freight adoption.

BikeWo Plans ₹150 Crore Investment to Deploy 5,000 Electric Trucks Across India
BikeWo Green Tech has partnered with Green Drive Auto Services to deploy 5,000 electric trucks across India, with a proposed investment of up to ₹150 crore. The partnership will support first-mile, mid-mile, last-mile and long-haul logistics. Green Drive currently operates over 350 electric trucks and 8,000 electric two-wheelers, serving clients including More Retail, DHL and Gati.
AMPSTAR Deploys First 100 Electric Tractor Trucks for JSW Cement, Gets CMVR Certification
JSW Greentech has deployed its first 100 AMPSTAR 4x2 55T electric tractor trucks for JSW Cement, supporting freight movement between Nandyal and Vijayanagar across a 330-km corridor. The trucks deliver 430 kW peak power and 2,600 Nm torque. Supported by four battery-swapping stations, the project targets savings of 4.5 crore litres of diesel and 6,250 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
M. R. Shah Group Deploys Blue Energy Motors LNG Trucks for Long-Haul Freight
M. R. Shah Group has deployed Blue Energy Motors’ double-tank LNG heavy-duty trucks for transporting non-hazardous chemicals from Kutch to North India. Offering a claimed range of up to 2,400 km per fill, the trucks can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30% compared with diesel models. Blue Energy Motors operates over 1,400 green trucks covering more than 150 million kilometres across India.

Montra Electric has introduced 15-minute rapid charging for its SUPER AUTO FX electric passenger three-wheeler through a partnership with Exponent Energy. VFRYT's initial fleet will comprise around 185 EVs, including the Super Cargo eCX d+, offering a claimed range of over 150 km. The platform will use digital tracking and AI-enabled monitoring, with plans to expand beyond Chennai.
EKA Mobility Inaugurates Six Manufacturing Plants With ₹3,500 Crore Investment
EKA Mobility and its group companies inaugurated six manufacturing facilities across Pune and Pithampur under the ₹3,500 crore-plus EKA Avirbhava initiative. The company now operates 11 facilities with an annual capacity of over 40,000 EVs. It reported 1,243% year-on-year growth in H1 FY27, has an 11,000-plus electric bus order book worth US$1.7 billion, and plans to create over 2.5 lakh jobs in five years.
India Creates 11 Crore Farmer IDs Five Months Before Deadline
India has created 11 crore Farmer IDs, achieving its target five months before the March 2027 deadline under the Digital Agriculture Mission. Announced by Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the initiative aims to simplify access to agricultural loans, crop insurance, disaster relief and government schemes. More than 6 crore farmers have already received direct benefits through Farmer ID-based services.

Chhattisgarh Paddy Procurement 2026: ₹3,100 Per Quintal From November 15
Chhattisgarh will begin 2026-27 Kharif paddy procurement on November 15 at ₹3,100 per quintal, targeting over 27.50 lakh farmers. Farmers can sell up to 21 quintals per acre across 3,100 procurement centres. Agristack IDs, biometric verification and online token booking will simplify procurement, while 273 check posts and QR code tracking aim to prevent irregularities and improve transparency.

The hike will vary by model, variant and location due to rising raw material, energy, logistics and manufacturing costs. PM Kisan 24th Installment Released: ₹18,680 Crore Transferred to 9.34 Crore Farmers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th PM Kisan installment on October 30, 2026, transferring over ₹18,680 crore to more than 9.34 crore eligible farmers.
