Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has announced a price hike across its tractor portfolio, with revised prices coming into effect from November 2026. The increase will apply to all three major tractor brands of the company, including Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac. The revision will take place after the festive season, with the actual increase varying depending on the model, variant and geographical location.

The decision comes amid continued pressure from rising manufacturing and operational costs. Higher raw material prices, energy expenses, logistics charges and other production-related costs have increased the overall cost of manufacturing tractors. Inflationary trends and ongoing geopolitical uncertainties have also contributed to the situation.

According to the company, the revised prices will be applicable across its Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac tractor ranges from November 2026. However, Escorts Kubota has not announced a uniform price increase for its entire portfolio.

Why Is Escorts Kubota Increasing Tractor Prices?

Escorts Kubota has attributed the price revision to sustained increases in input costs. The company has been facing higher expenses across several areas, including raw materials, energy, transportation, logistics and manufacturing operations.

In addition, inflationary pressures and geopolitical uncertainties have continued to affect the overall cost environment.

The company said it had int roduced several cost optimisation and operational efficiency measures over the past few months to control the impact of rising expenses. These initiatives were aimed at managing manufacturing costs without immediately passing the entire burden on to customers.

However, with input costs continuing to remain elevated, the company has decided to revise tractor prices to partially offset the higher manufacturing and operating expenses.

Escorts Kubota Management on the Tractor Price Revision

Commenting on the decision, Manish Sharma, President – Agri Business, Escorts Kubota, said the company had absorbed a substantial portion of the rising input costs before deciding to increase tractor prices.

He further explained that the price adjustment has been planned to reduce the impact on customers while helping the company manage the continued increase in manufacturing and operational expenses.

This indicates that Escorts Kubota has attempted to balance customer affordability with the need to manage higher production costs.

Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota Tractor Ranges

Escorts Kubota offers tractors through three major brands: Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota. Its portfolio caters to different farming requirements, tractor categories and customer preferences.

Some of the key product ranges offered by the company include:

  • Farmtrac PROMAXX Series: A part of the company's Farmtrac tractor portfolio.

  • Powertrac Shaurya Series: Another important tractor range under the Powertrac brand.

  • Digitrac Range: An expanded tractor portfolio offering additional choices to customers.

  • Kubota NeoStar Series: Part of Kubota's tractor range in India.

  • Kubota MU Series: Another key series in the company's Kubota portfolio.

Alongside expanding its tractor portfolio, Escorts Kubota has also been working on strengthening its dealership network to improve its market reach and customer accessibility.

What Does the Price Hike Mean for Tractor Buyers?

The upcoming price revision means customers planning to purchase Farmtrac, Powertrac or Kubota tractors may have to pay more from November 2026. Since the increase will differ across models, variants and locations, the final impact on buyers will depend on their selected tractor.

Customers considering a new tractor purchase should check the applicable prices at authorised dealerships before the revised rates take effect.

CMV360 Says

Escorts Kubota's upcoming tractor price hike reflects the continued pressure of rising input and manufacturing costs across the agricultural machinery industry. While the company has tried to manage expenses through cost optimisation and operational efficiency, higher costs have made a revision necessary. From November 2026, buyers of Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota tractors should expect model-specific price adjustments, making it important to check updated prices with authorised dealerships.
