9.34 Crore Farmers Receive ₹2,000 Under PM Kisan Yojana

Under the latest installment, more than 9.34 crore eligible farmers have received ₹2,000 each, taking the total amount transferred to over ₹18,680 crore. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a Central Government scheme designed to provide financial support to eligible farmer families. Under this scheme, beneficiaries receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.

The amount is transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), helping them manage smaller agricultural expenses without visiting government offices to collect the money. Farmers can use this financial assistance to purchase essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilisers, pesticides and other farming-related requirements.

How to Check PM Kisan 24th Installment Status Online

Farmers who are registered under the PM Kisan Yojana can check their 24th installment payment status from their mobile phones or computers. There is no need to visit a government office to find out whether the ₹2,000 payment has been released.

Here is how beneficiaries can check their payment status:

  1. Visit the official PM Kisan website at pmkisan.gov.in.

  2. Open the Farmers Corner section available on the homepage.

  3. Click on the Know Your Status option.

  4. Enter your PM Kisan registration number and the captcha code displayed on the screen.

  5. Verify your identity using the requested details and OTP.

  6. Once verification is complete, your installment and payment-related information will appear on the screen.

Through this process, farmers can check whether their 24th installment has been released, is under process or is still pending.

However, farmers should remember that even if the payment status shows as processed on the portal, it may take some time for the amount to reflect in their bank accounts. Therefore, beneficiaries should also check their bank SMS alerts, mobile banking applications or updated passbooks to confirm that the money has been credited.

What to Do If You Have Not Received the PM Kisan 24th Installment?

Farmers who are eligible for the scheme but have not received the ₹2,000 installment should first check their application and payment status on the official PM Kisan portal.

In some cases, payments may get delayed because of incomplete e-KYC verification, incorrect bank account details or pending land record verification.

To resolve these issues, farmers should take the following steps:

  • Complete e-KYC: Check whether your e-KYC verification is complete and update it if required.

  • Verify bank details: Make sure your registered bank account information is correct and active.

  • Check land records: Ensure that the required land record verification has been completed.

  • Check payment status: Visit the PM Kisan portal to identify whether the installment is pending or facing any issue.

If the payment problem continues even after correcting these details, farmers can contact the PM Kisan helpline for assistance.

The government has provided the following helpline numbers for beneficiaries:

  • 155261

  • 011-24300606

Farmers can also use the Kisan e-Mitra chatbot, available on the official PM Kisan website, to get answers to their scheme-related queries and assistance with payment issues.
