FADA Three-Wheeler Retail Sales Report August 2025: Over 1.03 Lakh Units Sold
Three-wheeler sales in August 2025 stood at 1,03,105 units, down 7.47% MoM and 2.26% YoY. Passenger e-rickshaws fell sharply, but goods carriers and personal-use vehicles grew. Bajaj Auto led with 34.10% market share, while Mahindra nearly doubled its share to 18.16%. TVS Motors saw strong growth, reflecting rising EV adoption in last-mile mobility.
FADA Retail CV Sales August 2025: 75,592 Units Sold, Mahindra Rises, Tata Leads but Slips
Commercial vehicle sales in August 2025 stood at 75,592 units, up 8.55% YoY but down 1.11% MoM. LCV and MCV segments drove growth, while HCVs dipped slightly. Tata Motors led despite losing share to Mahindra, which posted strong gains. Ashok Leyland, VECV, and Switch Mobility also grew, signaling steady demand and rising EV adoption.
VECV Expands EV Portfolio and Reports 42% Renewable Energy Use on World EV Day 2025
On World EV Day 2025, VECV launched Eicher Pro X, 2055 EV, and Skyline Pro Electric bus, expanded charging partnerships, and announced 42% renewable energy usage with a 70% FY2027 target. Its Bhopal plant uses Industry 4.0 tech and an all-women assembly line. VECV is focusing on EVs, CNG, LNG, hydrogen engines, and fuel cells to support India’s net-zero goals.
Madhya Pradesh Launches India’s First EV Policy on World EV Day 2025
Madhya Pradesh became the first state to launch an EV policy, targeting 80% electric three-wheelers by 2030. Incentives include up to ₹10 lakh for charging stations and support for battery swapping, retrofitting, and skill development. Bhopal, Indore, and other cities will become model EV hubs. VE Commercial Vehicles Extends Full GST Reduction Benefit to Customers
VECV will pass on the GST cut benefit, reducing truck and bus prices by ₹1–6 lakh from September 22, 2025. GST on trucks and buses drops from 28% to 18%, while EVs stay at 5%.
