Arjun series completes 25 years
Now with a 6-year warranty
2.5 lakh farmers trust it
Up to 60 HP power range
Advanced hydraulics and engines
Mahindra Tractors has announced the 25th anniversary of its popular Arjun tractor series. To celebrate this milestone, the company has introduced a standard six-year warranty across the entire Arjun range, offering farmers greater peace of mind.
The Arjun series was first launched in 2000 with three horsepower variants. Over time, it has become one of India’s most trusted higher-horsepower tractor brands. Today, the series offers five models with power ratings of up to 60 HP, available in both 2WD and 4WD versions to suit different farming needs.
The tractors are powered by Mahindra’s mDI and CRDe four-cylinder engines, built to deliver more power with better fuel efficiency. The series also features:
Constant mesh transmission
Dual clutch technology for smooth gear shifting
High torque and backup torque for heavy-duty work
Class-leading PTO power for demanding farm tasks
With advanced hydraulics, the Arjun tractors are well-suited for operations like land preparation, puddling, deep tillage, sugarcane haulage, and harvesting.
Over the years, the Arjun series has earned the trust of more than 2.5 lakh farmers. It is widely used by small and large-scale farmers, as well as haulage operators.
Speaking about the milestone, Veejay Nakra, President of Farm Equipment Business at Mahindra & Mahindra, said the company takes pride in the Arjun series and its role in supporting Indian farmers.
The Arjun series is part of Mahindra’s large-scale tractor operations, produced across five manufacturing facilities in India. Mahindra continues to be the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, with over 4 million units sold globally as of March 2024.
Mahindra’s nationwide dealer network supports sales and services, while Mahindra Finance provides easy credit options. Farmers can also choose from a wide range of agricultural implements to match different needs.
Mahindra has been a leader in the Indian tractor industry for nearly four decades. The company started its tractor journey in 1963 in collaboration with International Harvester Inc. Today, Mahindra offers over 300 tractor models covering a wide horsepower range for multiple farming applications.
The brand has also expanded globally, with presence in 50+ countries across six continents. The United States is Mahindra’s second-largest market after India, with additional manufacturing and assembly plants in North America, Brazil, Finland, Turkey, and Japan.
The 25-year journey of the Arjun series reflects the growing agricultural mechanization in India. With farmers increasingly shifting towards higher horsepower tractors, demand for powerful and efficient machines like the Arjun series is set to rise further.
