The official handover ceremony was attended by senior leaders from both companies. Deepak Garg, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of SANY India, and Anurag Dubey, Senior Vice-President and Business Unit Head for Heavy-Duty Trucks, were present at the event.
This collaboration highlights how the logistics sector is shifting focus to electric mobility in a bigger and more impactful way.
SG Green’s Managing Director, Utkarsh Jain, shared that these electric trucks are designed to address one of the biggest challenges in electric trucking – range limitations. He stated that these vehicles will allow for longer routes, something that very few manufacturers currently offer in India.
This makes the trucks ideal for logistics companies that need reliable long-distance operations without compromising efficiency.
Deepak Garg emphasized that SANY India is committed to supporting cleaner transport solutions and boosting India’s role in global automotive technology. He said that the partnership with SG Green goes beyond just delivering trucks; it aims to create a smarter and more sustainable future for the logistics industry.
