CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction equipment, has previewed its first Made-in-India compact tractor from its Greater Noida plant. The launch highlights the company’s commitment to strengthening India as a hub for manufacturing, technology, and exports.

CNH’s Growth Plans in India

India is one of the fastest-growing markets for CNH. The company has announced its goal of doubling its tractor market share in the country under the New Holland brand within the next five years. This growth will be driven by a strong range of localized products, particularly compact tractors in the 30–50 HP category, designed to meet the specific needs of Indian farmers.

Four Key Priorities for Indian Operations

CNH has identified four major focus areas for its India operations:

  • Expanding localized manufacturing for domestic and global markets

  • Positioning India as a global technology and R&D hub

  • Growing market share with India-specific product offerings

Strong Manufacturing and Export Network

Currently, CNH exports products manufactured in India to over 80 countries. The company operates three plants across India:

India Technology Centre – A Global R&D Powerhouse

CNH’s India Technology Centre, located in Gurugram, employs over 700 engineers and is set to become the company’s largest global technology facility. Equipped with multi-vehicle simulators, advanced prototyping tools, and virtual/extended reality labs, the centre supports CNH’s global product pipeline with cutting-edge research and development.
