Montra Electric Ships 175 Super Autos by Rail for Faster, Greener Deliveries

Montra Electric shipped 175 Super Autos by rail from Tada to Siliguri, cutting delivery time by 60% and costs by 30%. The 2,000 km journey was completed in under 5 days, avoiding 15,800 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. A new Siliguri warehouse ensures immediate festive-season availability. Scania Launches SUPER Truck Series in India with 10% Better Fuel Efficiency

Montra Electric to Unveil Advanced eHCV Truck Manufacturing Facility in Manesar

Montra Electric has inaugurated its advanced eHCV manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana, featuring India’s first all-women automated battery production unit. The plant has a 6,000-unit annual capacity, scalable to 7,500, with 60% robotics integration and full Industry 4.0 practices. It includes in-house 1.7 GWh battery assembly, advanced testing labs, and 74% component localization. Montra Electric Partners with Govt. of India’s NHEV to Deploy 1000+ Electric Trucks

Montra Electric eHCV has partnered with Ease of Doing Business under the NHEV initiative, becoming India’s first OEM to join this program. The company is developing Euro 7/BS VII engines ahead of 2029, focusing on cybersecurity, FOTA updates, and alternative fuels like LNG, CNG, and electric trucks. Mahindra has launched the YUVO TECH+ 475 DI tractor with a 42 HP mBULL engine, 191 Nm torque, dual clutch, 12F+3R gears, and 2000 kg lifting capacity. Available in 2WD and 4WD with power steering, it ensures comfort, efficiency, and durability. Backed by a 6-year warranty, it is now available in five states, strengthening Mahindra’s farmer-focused portfolio.
ICRA Report: Indian Tractor Industry Sees Strong Growth in August 2025

The Indian tractor industry grew strongly in August 2025, with wholesale volumes up 28.2% and retail sales up 30.1% YoY. Favorable monsoon, healthy crop production, and GST reduction to 5% boosted demand. Cumulative growth reached 11.7% in FY2026’s first five months. ICRA expects 4–7% growth for FY2026, supported by strong farm sentiment, festive demand, and pre-buying ahead of TREM V emission norms from April 2026.
Indian Tractors Now Exported to 162 Countries with Emission Norm Alignment: ICCT

Indian tractors are now exported to 162 countries, driven by compliance with TREM IV standards. EU exports grew 11% CAGR, with Belgium as a major buyer, while Brazil saw a 65% CAGR since 2017. The US remains the top market with 21% share. Upcoming TREM V norms by 2026 will align with the EU, enhancing global competitiveness and supporting India’s position as a leading exporter of clean, next-generation tractors.
Mahindra Unveils Made-in-India AIROTEC Turbo 600 Alpha for Orchard Farmers

Mahindra has launched the AIROTEC Turbo 600 Alpha, a compact, high-performance sprayer for orchard crops. Built in Nashik by M.I.T.R.A., it features a 600-litre tank, 75 LPM pump, 616 mm fan, 12 brass nozzles, and a 5-mode controller. Fuel-efficient and suitable for high-density orchards, it ensures precise spraying, reduces chemical waste, and improves crop health, supporting Indian horticulture farmers with modern, reliable, and efficient mechanization solutions.
