The week of 8th–13th December 2025 marked another action-packed phase for India’s commercial vehicle, electric mobility, and tractor markets, highlighting strong demand, rapid innovation, and growing confidence across sectors. FADA data showed mixed but improving momentum in CV sales, while three-wheeler retail volumes surged sharply on the back of rising last-mile and electric mobility adoption. At the same time, tractor sales crossed new highs, driven by robust rural demand and positive farm income expectations.
EXCON 2025 remained a major spotlight this week, with Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and Bullwork Mobility unveiling powerful electric trucks, next-generation industrial engines, and India’s most powerful electric tractor. Alongside these launches, initiatives around energy efficiency, sustainable manufacturing, and large-scale farmer engagement at Pune Kisan Mela 2025 reinforced India’s steady shift toward cleaner transport, smarter agriculture, and future-ready mobility solutions.

India’s commercial vehicle market recorded 94,935 retail sales in November 2025, down 14.46% from last year but up nearly 20% over 2023, showing recovery momentum. Bajaj Auto led the market with a 33.08% share, while Mahindra, TVS, and several EV brands posted solid growth. Rising last-mile mobility needs and increasing EV adoption continue to support overall market momentum.
