Intangles has launched its new AIS-140-certified product range in India, bringing advanced fleet tracking, predictive vehicle health monitoring, fuel management and AI-powered video telematics to commercial vehicle operators. Announced on November 2, 2026, in Pune, the new portfolio is available in four configurations: InCert, InSight, InGenious and InVision+.
The new product range is designed to support different commercial vehicle segments, including cabs, three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles (SCVs), vans, light and intermediate commercial vehicles, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, and buses. Vehicle compatibility varies depending on the selected configuration.
With these solutions, Intangles aims to make predictive fleet intelligence accessible to businesses of every size, from operators managing a handful of vehicles to companies running large commercial fleets.
Why AIS-140 Compliance Alone Is Not Enough
AIS-140 is a Government of India standard that defines requirements for vehicle tracking and emergency alert systems. While it helps fleet operators meet regulatory requirements and monitor vehicle locations, it does not require engine-related information such as fault codes, coolant temperature or fuel analytics.
As a result, conventional AIS-140 tracking devices mainly provide location-based information without offering a complete picture of vehicle health and performance.
For fleet operators, this creates several challenges. Developing mechanical problems may remain unnoticed until a vehicle breaks down, fuel losses can accumulate over multiple trips, and unsafe driving habits may go undetected until they result in an accident.
In the competitive logistics industry, identifying these problems before a vehicle is dispatched can help businesses arrange timely repairs, reduce downtime, protect consignments and maintain passenger services.
Intangles aims to address these challenges by combining AIS-140 compliance with predictive intelligence that helps operators understand what is happening inside their vehicles and take action before problems become serious.
Intangles Uses Predictive AI to Reduce Vehicle Breakdowns
The company's platform combines physics-based analytics with machine learning to understand vehicle signals in relation to actual operating conditions. Instead of simply reporting vehicle location, the system identifies developing faults and provides operators with early warnings so they can take preventive action.
According to Intangles, its predictive intelligence technology delivers 96% predictive AI accuracy and has helped fleets reduce powertrain breakdowns by 75%.
This approach is designed to help fleet businesses improve vehicle availability, control operating expenses, increase productivity and make commercial vehicle operations safer.
Four AIS-140-Certified Product Configurations Explained
Intangles is offering four configurations, allowing customers to select the features they need beyond basic regulatory compliance.
InCert: Provides AIS-140-certified vehicle tracking, trip management, geofencing and driver alerts. It is designed for operators who primarily need tracking and compliance features.
InSight: Adds driver behaviour reports, fuel consumption insights and vehicle fault codes with repair guidance, helping operators understand driving patterns and vehicle performance.
InGenious: Offers predictive vehicle health monitoring, advanced fuel management, DriveIQ driver scorecards and operations automation for businesses looking for more comprehensive fleet intelligence.
InVision+: Combines the certified tracking device with AI-powered video telematics. It uses two cameras, one facing the road and another monitoring the driver inside the cabin. It also provides in-cabin voice alerts, road warnings and video-on-demand functionality.
All four configurations operate on InRoute, Intangles' fleet intelligence platform, bringing vehicle tracking and operational insights together in one system.
InCentral Platform Makes Online Purchase Easier
Alongside the new product portfolio, Intangles has introduced InCentral, its direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform in India. Customers can use the platform to identify the right solution, check vehicle compatibility, purchase products online and generate VLTD (Vehicle Location Tracking Device) certificates. This brings product selection, purchasing and certification-related processes together in one place.
The AIS-140-certified product range is also available through Intangles' field sales channels, giving customers multiple ways to access the solutions.
Intangles Growing Global Fleet Intelligence Network
Intangles is a global predictive AI company working with fleet and mobility operators to improve vehicle performance and operational reliability. The company operates across 18 countries, works with more than 40 OEM and enterprise partners, and supports over 41,000 fleet operators. Its platform covers more than 500,000 vehicles.
By converting real-world vehicle data into predictive insights, Intangles helps businesses identify problems early, prevent vehicle failures and improve fleet performance. Its latest AIS-140-certified portfolio further extends these capabilities across India's commercial vehicle ecosystem.
