India’s most powerful electric tractor unveiled at EXCON 2025.
60 kW dual-motor system and 96 kWh battery.
Fast charging: 0–100% in about 2 hours.
Up to 80% lower running cost with ₹3 lakh annual savings.
Built from scratch with an automation-ready design.
Bullwork Mobility made a strong impact on Day 1 of EXCON 2025 with the launch of the BEAST 9696 E, which the company calls India’s most powerful and technologically advanced electric tractor. The launch marks a major milestone for India’s emerging electric farm machinery market.

Unlike converted or retrofitted electric tractors, the BEAST 9696 E has been engineered entirely from scratch on Bullwork’s in-house electric architecture. Mohammed Adnan, Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Leader at Bullwork Mobility, announced the launch and described the tractor as “a revolution built with conviction, reflecting four years of deep R&D and product development.
Bullwork has equipped the BEAST with several industry-first technologies:
Patented 60 kW dual-motor drive system
Massive 96 kWh battery pack
Fast charging: 0–100% in about 2 hours
Best-in-India lifting and hauling capacity
Drive-by-wire and autonomous-ready hardware
Smart work modes and 3-speed e-shifter
e-ADDC technology for precision farming
The company states that the tractor can deliver up to 80% lower operating costs than diesel models. For heavy users, this may translate into savings of up to ₹3 lakh per year due to zero fuel expense and reduced maintenance.

Bullwork designed the BEAST 9696 E to support advanced automation with:
Smart traction control
Thermal-managed power systems
Long-duty cycle-optimized electronics
This positions the tractor as an automation-ready machine fit for agriculture, utility work, and industrial operations.
The BEAST project reflects one of the most extensive engineering efforts in India’s EV machinery sector. The development process involved:
Evaluation of 2600+ vendors worldwide
Strategic partnerships with top-tier suppliers
Creation of 10+ major engineering systems from the ground up
4 years of engineering, testing, validation, and supply chain strengthening
Adnan said the BEAST was shaped through “sleepless nights, redesigns, test failures, supply chain battles, and performance-to-cost optimization,” highlighting the intensity behind the project. Engineering leaders like Hemanth Kumar, Vinay Raghuram, Sriharsha Sheshanarayana, and Navya N played a major role in R&D, testing, sourcing, and production.
According to research from ICCT and JMK, India had zero registered electric tractors as of FY 2024–25. Despite benefits like lower emissions, less noise, and drastically lower running costs, adoption has been limited due to high initial prices and a lack of charging infrastructure.
Against this backdrop, the BEAST 9696 E aims to change the direction of India’s EV tractor segment, offering an advanced, high-performance option for a market still in its early growth phase.
During the unveiling, Adnan emphasized that the BEAST is more than a machine—it is a symbol of India’s leadership in EV engineering.
“India is not catching up. India is leading. The future is electric,” he said.
Bullwork Mobility, which also develops electric loaders, autonomous vehicles, and utility EVs, plans to drive electrification across agriculture, warehousing, mobility, and material handling.

The launch of the Bullwork BEAST 9696 E marks a major breakthrough for India’s electric farm machinery sector. With its powerful dual-motor system, large battery capacity, fast charging, and automation-ready platform, the BEAST sets a new benchmark for performance and innovation. As India begins exploring electric farming solutions, this tractor positions Bullwork Mobility as a pioneer, aiming to bring efficiency, sustainability, and advanced technology to the agricultural and industrial sectors.
