Tata Motors has strengthened its electric commercial vehicle portfolio with the launch of two new battery-electric trucks, Prima E.28K Electric Tipper and Prima E.55S Electric, at EXCON 2025. These new models are designed to power the future of mining, construction, and long-distance logistics with clean, strong, and high-performing electric mobility solutions.
The company’s latest EVs are built to support sectors like mining, cargo movement, infrastructure, and heavy-duty transportation. With stronger torque, high-grade e-axle technology, and rugged design, these trucks promise zero-emission operations without sacrificing power or uptime.
The new EV lineup focuses on high productivity, cleaner mobility, and long-term cost efficiency for fleet owners.
The new Prima EV range is built to handle steep gradients, rough terrains, and heavy operational cycles. Their advanced electric drivetrains deliver strong performance and high torque output while keeping emissions at zero.

He emphasized the role of EXCON as a key platform: “As infrastructure activity grows, customers need high-productivity solutions. With the launch of the Prima 3540.K, we enter the deep-mining segment. And with the Prima E.28K—our first all-electric tipper—we are advancing zero-emission heavy-duty operations without compromising performance.”
