The company's October performance was supported by healthy demand across both Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV). The M&HCV segment recorded the strongest growth in overall sales, while exports also registered a significant increase during the month.

Ashok Leyland Domestic CV Sales in October 2026

Ashok Leyland recorded domestic commercial vehicle sales of 18,680 units in October 2026, compared to 14,675 units in the corresponding month last year. This represents a growth of 27.3% YoY.

The M&HCV segment remained a major contributor to domestic sales growth, with sales increasing by 39% during the month.

The domestic sales breakdown is as follows:

• M&HCV: 11,102 units in October 2026, compared to 7,972 units in October 2025, registering 39% YoY growth.

• LCV: 7,578 units, compared to 6,703 units in the same month last year, recording 13% YoY growth.

• Total Domestic Sales: 18,680 units, up 27.3% from 14,675 units in October 2025.

The figures indicate that both commercial vehicle categories contributed to the company's domestic growth, with M&HCV trucks leading the performance.

Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Exports in October 2026

Ashok Leyland also reported strong growth in its international business during October 2026. The company exported 894 commercial vehicles, compared to 537 units in October 2025, marking a significant 66.5% YoY increase.

The M&HCV category recorded particularly strong growth in exports, while the LCV segment also maintained positive momentum.

The export sales breakdown is as follows:

• M&HCV: 511 units exported in October 2026, compared to 285 units in October 2025, registering 79% YoY growth.

• LCV: 383 units exported, compared to 252 units in the corresponding month last year, recording 52% YoY growth.

• Total Exports: 894 units, up 66.5% from 537 units in October 2025.

The export performance highlights increasing demand for Ashok Leyland's commercial vehicles in international markets, with both M&HCV and LCV categories recording substantial growth.

Including domestic sales and exports, Ashok Leyland's total commercial vehicle sales reached 19,574 units in October 2026, compared to 15,212 units in October 2025. This represents an overall growth of 28.7% YoY.

The M&HCV segment continued to lead the company's overall sales performance, while the LCV category also recorded an increase.

The combined domestic and export sales figures are:

• M&HCV: 11,613 units in October 2026, compared to 8,257 units in October 2025, registering approximately 41% YoY growth.

• LCV: 7,961 units, compared to 6,955 units in October 2025, recording approximately 14.5% YoY growth.

• Total CV Sales: 19,574 units, compared to 15,212 units in October 2025, representing 28.7% YoY growth.

These figures show that M&HCV vehicles contributed the largest share of Ashok Leyland's overall sales, accounting for 11,613 units during the month.

Strong Performance Across Domestic and Export Markets

Ashok Leyland recorded positive growth across its domestic and export businesses in October 2026. Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased by 27.3%, while exports grew at a faster pace of 66.5% compared to October 2025.
