Tata Motors and HPCL Launch Circular Economy Pilot for Used Automotive Lubricants
Tata Motors has partnered with HPCL to create a scalable circular economy model for recycling used automotive lubricants in India. The pilot supports Extended Producer Responsibility goals by collecting, storing, and converting hazardous waste lubricants into refined base oil. A joint committee will oversee implementation and scalability, aiming to improve resource efficiency, reduce environmental risks, and establish better waste management standards.

Haryana Farmers to Get ₹5 Lakh Subsidy on E-Tractors; Final Price May Drop to ₹8 Lakh

The scheme covers loans taken between May 2025 and February 2026 and will cost the state an additional ₹2,044 crore, providing significant relief before the next farming season.

The government of West Bengal has launched the Annapurna Yojana to provide ₹3,000 monthly financial assistance to eligible women from economically weaker families. Application forms have been available since May 27 through BDO, Panchayat, and municipal offices. Priority will be given to widows, unemployed, and low-income women. Applicants must submit Aadhaar, bank account details, income proof, and other required documents.
