Sonalika Tractors has introduced a new chapter in eco-friendly farming by unveiling its first CNG/CBG tractor at Agrovision 2025 in Nagpur. This next-generation tractor aims to offer lower operating costs, higher efficiency, and cleaner mobility for Indian farmers.

Sonalika Steps Into Green Mobility at Agrovision 2025

New Delhi, 24th November 2025: India’s No. 1 tractor export brand, Sonalika Tractors, showcased its first CNG/CBG-powered tractor at the 16th Agrovision 2025, India’s premier agriculture summit held in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

The unveiling took place in the presence of:

  • Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways

  • Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare

This major step supports India’s move towards sustainable farming and aligns with the Government’s SATAT and GobarDHAN programs, both focused on strengthening the clean energy ecosystem across rural India.

Next-Gen Tractor Focused on Power, Efficiency & Sustainability

The newly showcased CNG/CBG tractor blends Sonalika’s heavy-duty performance with low-emission technology. It is specially engineered for tough haulage operations where torque, durability, and fuel savings matter the most.

Key Technical Highlights

  • 2000 rated RPM powerful and fuel-efficient engine

  • 12+3 constant mesh transmission with side shift gear system

  • 14.9x28 rear tyres for better grip and haulage efficiency

  • 40 kg fuel capacity (14 kg + 27 kg), reducing frequent refuelling needs

  • Purpose-built for heavy-duty haulage applications

Sonalika also displayed a complete tractor + trolley system at Agrovision, designed to improve operational efficiency while utilising the growing CNG fuel network in rural regions.
