Strong progress in rural housing.
There is good news for rural families waiting for financial help under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). The Rajasthan government has completed all preparations to transfer ₹100 crore directly into the bank accounts of 18,500 eligible beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This step aims to provide timely financial support for building permanent homes in rural areas.

According to official information, the installment amount under PMAY-G is expected to be credited by December 23. Beneficiaries who have been waiting for their housing installment can now expect relief, as the government wants to ensure that construction work does not stop due to a lack of funds.
Rajasthan has made strong progress under the PM Awas Yojana-Gramin. The state has set a target of 24,97,121 houses. So far, 24,35,942 beneficiaries have registered, and 24,33,490 houses have received approval. As of December 11, construction of 18,07,863 houses has already been completed. These figures show the fast pace of work and the large number of families benefiting from the scheme.
The fund transfer will take place during a farmers conference in Merta, Nagaur district. On December 23, at around 1 PM, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will transfer ₹100 crore to beneficiaries’ accounts by pressing a remote button. The amount will be sent directly to bank accounts, ensuring transparency and faster delivery.
Beneficiaries can easily check whether the money has been credited to their account by following these steps:

Beneficiaries are selected based on government guidelines. Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and women-headed households are given priority. As per rules, 60% of houses are reserved for SC and ST families. Installments are released according to this priority system.
If the installment is not received on December 23, beneficiaries do not need to worry. Payments are released in phases, and some names may be included in the next list. The government has assured that all eligible beneficiaries will receive their payments on time.
The PM Awas Yojana-Gramin continues to play a key role in providing permanent homes to rural families and improving their overall living standards. More beneficiaries are expected to be covered under the scheme in the coming days.

With ₹100 crore being transferred directly to 18,500 beneficiaries, the government aims to speed up house construction and ensure transparency through DBT. The strong progress of the scheme reflects its role in improving rural living conditions, empowering weaker sections, and helping families move closer to owning a permanent home.
