A second spray must be done after 10–15 days to fully control the disease.
Black Rust is also known as Stem Rust. It mainly affects wheat crops in Central India and the Southern hilly regions.
Dark brown or black powder-like spots appear on the stems.
Later, these spots spread to the leaves.
Plants become weak and dry faster.
Grains become smaller, lighter, and poorly filled.
It directly damages the stem, which is the plant’s support system.
It prevents nutrients from reaching the grains.
