Key Highlights:
ETO Motors, India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) fleet operator, has partnered with Cashurdrive, an outdoor advertising company, to start a new advertising campaign using electric vehicles. This campaign will run across seven major cities in India and will turn more than 2,000 electric vehicles into mobile advertising platforms.
The cities involved in this campaign are Hyderabad, Delhi, Kevadia, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Nagpur, and Bengaluru. ETO Motors will use its fleet of electric three-wheelers, over 500 electric 4-wheelers, and electric buses. These vehicles will carry advertising messages while continuing their daily transportation services.
From Kumbh Mela Pilot to Nationwide Rollout
Rajeev YSR, Chief Marketing Officer of ETO Motors, shared that this idea started with a small campaign during the Kumbh Mela. A consumer goods company used ETO's electric vehicles to advertise during the festival. After its success, the company decided to expand this offering for other brands across various sectors.
A Sustainable Option for Responsible Brands
Raghu Khanna, Managing Director of Cashurdrive, said the partnership brings together electric vehicle technology and advertising know-how. He believes this eco-friendly advertising method is a good fit for companies that want to promote their brand while also showing care for the environment.
Tracking Advertising Impact and Sustainability
The campaign will not just show ads, it will also track data. Through a special dashboard system, clients will be able to see how many people viewed the ads and how many sustainable kilometers the vehicles travelled. This helps brands measure their reach and their environmental impact at the same time.
The goal of this initiative is to offer brands a chance to advertise without adding to pollution. Traditional mobile ads often use fuel-powered vehicles, which create carbon emissions. This campaign uses only electric vehicles, making it a greener choice.
Leaders in EV Mobility and Outdoor Advertising
ETO Motors is known for providing clean and smart urban transport through its large EV fleet. Cashurdrive has been working in outdoor and transit advertising across India. Together, they are introducing a new way of advertising that supports both visibility and sustainability. This campaign could become a model for future advertising efforts that focus on both business goals and environmental responsibility.
