Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), a part of Greaves Cotton Limited, has announced the appointment of Vikas Singh as its new Managing Director. His appointment is effective from 2nd June 2025. This decision reflects GEML’s strategy to strengthen leadership and boost growth in India’s expanding electric vehicle (EV) market.

Vikas Singh Brings Strong Leadership Experience

Vikas Singh is an alumnus of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. He brings a wealth of leadership experience from various consumer-focused industries. Over the years, Singh has successfully led teams and companies through complex and regulated environments. His experience in driving agile transformations makes him well-suited to take GEML to the next level of growth.

Focus On Sustainable Mobility Solutions

With this new leadership, GEML aims to continue its mission of offering smart and sustainable mobility options for Indian consumers. The company is dedicated to democratising electric mobility and making it accessible to a wider audience across the country.

In his new role, Vikas Singh will oversee all company operations. The existing management team will now report directly to him. His leadership is expected to strengthen the company’s operations and help achieve its long-term ambitions in the electric mobility sector.
