Update on Free Electricity Scheme 2024

A new guideline has been introduced under the Free Electricity Scheme, altering the eligibility criteria for beneficiaries. According to the new guideline, only farmers who have cleared their previous electricity bills will qualify for the scheme's benefits. Those with outstanding bills stand to lose out on the advantages offered by the scheme. However, certain conditions may also apply, including the limits on the consumption of electricity based on geographical regions.
