TAFE made significant gains in July 2025, selling 9,649 units, up from 7,871 units last year. Its market share increased from 9.84% to 10.88%, reflecting growing demand for its Massey Ferguson and Eicher models.

John Deere recorded 7,027 tractor sales, an increase from 6,237 units in July 2024. The company now holds a 7.92% market share, up from 7.80%, indicating consistent demand for its premium tractor models.
Eicher Tractors sold 6,166 units in July 2025, rising from 5,417 units last year. Its market share also grew modestly from 6.77% to 6.95%, continuing its upward trend in rural markets.

Kubota faced a major decline, with sales dropping to 569 units in July 2025, from 1,462 units in July 2024. Its market share fell sharply to 0.64%, likely due to reduced rural demand or pricing challenges.
Brands that individually accounted for less than 1% market share together sold 2,372 units, compared to 1,835 units last year. Their combined share rose slightly to 2.67%, showing broader interest in smaller or emerging brands.

The July 2025 tractor sales report shows encouraging signs of rural market stability and growing demand for agricultural machinery. Mahindra & Mahindra continues to dominate the sector, both through its core tractor division and the Swaraj brand. Meanwhile, Sonalika, TAFE, and Escorts Kubota also showed strong year-on-year improvements.
While most brands saw positive momentum, Kubota faced a sharp dip, which may point to brand-specific challenges or shifts in customer preference. The overall industry growth from 79,961 to 88,722 units highlights the increasing mechanisation of Indian agriculture.
