Japanese EV manufacturer Terra Motors has officially entered Punjab by opening its new L5 electric auto showroom in Amritsar. This expansion marks a big step in the company’s growth plans for North India. The showroom has been launched in partnership with AP Motor & Finance and will offer complete services including sales, servicing, and test rides.
The main highlight of the Amritsar showroom is the Kyoro+ L5 electric auto, built especially for urban and commercial transport.
It delivers a range of up to 200 km on a single charge, making it highly reliable for daily operations.
The vehicle is priced at an on-road cost of ₹3.66 lakh.
Buyers also get a 5-year warranty, ensuring long-term peace of mind.
To make the Kyoro+ more accessible, the company is offering financing support through Terra Finance. Drivers can benefit from low down payment schemes, helping many commercial operators shift towards eco-friendly and affordable transport solutions.
The showroom launch attracted strong interest from local drivers, dealers, and customers. Punjab has recently seen a steady rise in EV adoption, driven by high fuel prices and state incentives. Amritsar, being a key market, is expected to play an important role in Terra Motors expansion.
Terra Motors has already made a name in India with its e-rickshaws. In recent years, it has also expanded into the high-speed three-wheeler market. After building networks in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the company is now strengthening its footprint in Punjab.
Go Suzuki, Managing Director of Terra Motors India, stated that the company’s focus is on providing reliable vehicles with easy finance options, which will boost adoption among drivers and fleet operators.
The Amritsar showroom reflects Terra Motors commitment to sustainable and cost-effective mobility. The Kyoro+ electric auto is designed for commercial drivers who want to increase earnings while reducing fuel and maintenance costs.
This launch not only strengthens Terra Motors presence in India but also supports the country’s push towards eco-friendly transport solutions.
