Tata Motors has unveiled an impressive range of new commercial vehicles and industrial aggregates at EXCON 2025. This lineup highlights the company’s strong focus on smarter mobility, greener technology, and higher productivity for the construction and mining industries. The showcase included next-gen diesel, CNG, and electric tippers designed for better efficiency, deeper mining capabilities, and long-term sustainability.
Entry Into Deep Mining with Its Most Powerful Tipper
Tata Motors launched the Prima 3540.K AutoShift, its most powerful deep-mining tipper ever.
Cummins 8.5L engine
375 hp and 1800 Nm torque
12-speed AMT
This model is built for extreme mining conditions where power and durability are essential.
The company introduced the Prima E.28K, a 28-tonne all-electric tipper.
It is suitable for shallow mining, port handling, and mineral movement. This model supports India’s growing demand for clean, eco-friendly heavy-duty vehicles.
Tata Motors also launched the Signa 2820.TK CNG, the country’s first factory-built CNG tipper in the 28-tonne segment. It promises lower running costs and supports fleet owners who wish to shift to greener fuels without compromising performance.
Other important vehicles displayed include:
Signa 4832.TK – India’s first 48-tonne 5-axle tipper with a 32 cu.m load body for large coal movement.
Prima 3532.TK – A 26 cu.m high-efficiency tipper for construction aggregates.
Tata Motors also showcased newly developed aggregates designed for better durability and uptime, including:
15 kVA and 35 kVA gensets
CEV BS V-compliant engines for construction equipment
High-strength heavy-duty axles
These aggregates enhance the overall performance, service life, and reliability of machinery in demanding environments.
Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head – Trucks, shared that the Prima 3540.K marks the brand’s strong entry into the deep mining segment. He added that all new vehicles are designed to handle tough conditions while ensuring high fuel efficiency and long-term durability.
Vikram Agrawal, Head – Spares & Non-Vehicular Business, said the expanded aggregates portfolio will help customers achieve smoother and more efficient operations across construction and mining sectors.

Sampoorna Seva 2.0 – a complete service and support program
Fleet Edge – a connected digital platform offering real-time insights, predictive service alerts, and fleet optimization
