Montra Electric Opens New EV Dealership in Bengaluru with Rainland Autocorp

Montra Electric, the electric vehicle brand from TI Clean Mobility under the Murugappa Group, has opened a new three-wheeler dealership in Bengaluru. The new dealership, opened in partnership with Rainland Autocorp, is located on Mysore Road in Bapujinagar, right opposite the Satellite Bus Stand. This is Montra Electric’s fourth dealership in Bengaluru, but the first time it is working with Rainland Autocorp in the city.

Full-Service Facility for Electric Three-Wheelers

The new facility is set up to provide end-to-end support for Montra’s electric three-wheelers. It will offer sales, servicing, and spare parts all in one location. This move is expected to improve customer experience and bring the company closer to users in southern Bengaluru.

Inauguration by Key Leaders

The dealership was inaugurated by Arun Murugappan, Chairman of Tube Investments of India Ltd. He was joined by Roy Kurian, Business Head – Last Mile Mobility, Montra Electric, along with directors and senior officials from Rainland Autocorp.

Murugappan shared that this expansion shows the increasing need for clean transport in Karnataka. Roy Kurian added that Bengaluru is seeing strong EV growth and that the company’s growing network is aimed at supporting this demand.

Sheik Ahamed Shahil Anoof, Director at Rainland Autocorp, said the partnership is focused not only on sales but also on spreading awareness about EVs and offering reliable support for buyers.

SUPER AUTO and SUPER CARGO

Montra Electric’s three-wheelers include two key models. The SUPER AUTO is designed for passenger transport, while the SUPER CARGO is built for carrying goods. Both vehicles deliver a range of 160 to 170 kilometers per charge, making them ideal for everyday use in cities and nearby towns. The latest SUPER CARGO variant features a 13.8 kWh battery, and delivers peak power of 12 kW.  It is also available with a fast-charging option in Bengaluru.

Montra’s Presence Across India

Montra Electric is now active in 100 cities across India. Since its launch, it has already put over 11,000 vehicles on the road. The new Bengaluru dealership is another step in the company’s push to grow its reach and improve EV access in key markets.
