India’s electric three-wheeler market in March 2026 showed mixed trends, as per the Vahan Dashboard. The e-rickshaw segment saw a month-on-month slowdown despite strong long-term demand, with leaders like YC Electric and Zeniak Innovation holding positions. Meanwhile, the e-cart segment grew steadily, driven by rising e-commerce and last-mile delivery demand, highlighting continued EV adoption across India.
India’s electric three-wheeler (e-rickshaw) segment continues to be a key pillar of the country’s last-mile mobility ecosystem, especially in tier-2, tier-3 cities and rural markets. However, March 2026 reflects a mixed performance, with strong yearly growth for some players but overall pressure on a month-on-month basis.

Dilli Electric registered 890 units in March. Sales declined 30.1% YoY and 5.3% MoM, showing moderate pressure. Compared to peers, the smaller monthly drop suggests relatively stable demand conditions.
Aahana Commerce posted 722 units, achieving an impressive 97.3% YoY growth. Despite this, sales dropped 20.7% MoM, highlighting a temporary slowdown after strong growth momentum.
Hooghly Motors recorded 679 units in March, with a strong 116.9% YoY increase. However, it faced a steep 46.2% MoM decline, indicating significant cooling after February performance.
Saera Electric sold 634 units, witnessing a sharp 67.7% YoY decline. Sales also dropped 22.9% MoM, reflecting continued demand weakness across both yearly and monthly comparisons.
Terra Motors registered 600 units in March. Sales fell 17.1% YoY and 4.5% MoM, showing a relatively mild decline compared to peers, indicating stable but slow market performance.
Mini Metro reported 594 units, with a 34.4% YoY decline. Sales decreased 12.1% MoM, suggesting consistent pressure in demand, though not as severe as some competitors.
Energy Electric clocked 548 units in March. The brand saw a 37.4% YoY drop and a minor 4.2% MoM decline, indicating relatively stable short-term performance despite weaker annual comparison.
Move Stone Services sold 501 units, showing a strong 61.6% YoY growth. However, sales declined 11.3% MoM, reflecting a broader market trend of short-term slowdown after February.
