Gromax has launched its new Trakstar NXG and Alpha Series tractors in Goa, targeting farmers who need compact, efficient and easy-to-operate machines for specialised farming. The new Trakstar NXG Series covers the 20-30 HP tractor segment and combines compact dimensions with 4WD capability, modern styling and smooth performance.
The NXG range is particularly aimed at applications such as orchards and vineyards, where tractors need to work efficiently in narrow and confined spaces. Gromax says the new series focuses on better power, smooth operation and improved overall performance for daily farming requirements.
The new NXG range includes three tractors:
Trakstar 520 NXG 4WD
Trakstar 525 NXG 4WD
Trakstar 530 NXG 4WD
All three models come with 4WD, allowing farmers to work across different field conditions while maintaining traction and control. Their compact design is also intended to make them suitable for specialised agricultural applications.
One of the key highlights of the Trakstar NXG Series is its 2-cylinder YANMAR engine. According to Gromax, the engine is designed to deliver smooth performance while keeping noise and vibration levels low.
This focus on smoother operation can make regular tractor use more comfortable for farmers, particularly during long working hours. The combination of a compact design and smooth engine performance makes the NXG tractors suitable for specialised farming environments.
Gromax has positioned the Trakstar NXG Series beyond conventional field applications. The compact tractors are designed to help farmers working in orchards and vineyards, where narrow rows and restricted spaces can make tractor movement challenging.
The smaller footprint can help these tractors navigate tight areas more easily while their 4WD system provides additional capability across varying terrain.
Gromax defines NXG around three key attributes:
Next Generation Engine
Exceptional Smoothness
Great Power & Performance
The company describes the new range as a compact tractor solution that combines strong performance with modern styling and features.

Their compact design also makes them suitable for specialised applications such as orchards and vineyards, giving farmers another practical option for narrow-field operations.
