Force Motors Partners with MoRTH for Cleaner Mobility

Force Motors Limited, India's largest van manufacturer, has officially partnered with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, to support the Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme in the Delhi-NCR region.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday and marks another important step in the government's ongoing efforts to reduce vehicular emissions by encouraging the replacement of older commercial vehicles with cleaner and more fuel-efficient alternatives.

What is the Delhi-NCR Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme?

The Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme has been introduced to speed up the removal of older BS-IV and pre-BS-IV trucks and buses operating in Delhi-NCR. These vehicles will be replaced with modern BS-VI compliant or electric commercial vehicles.

The scheme is part of the government's larger strategy to improve air quality in the National Capital Region by reducing emissions from aging commercial vehicles. By promoting cleaner technologies, the initiative is expected to contribute significantly to lower pollution levels while encouraging the adoption of advanced transport solutions.

Force Motors Role in the Scheme

As one of the participating original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Force Motors will implement the scheme through its authorised dealership network across Delhi-NCR.

Eligible customers replacing their old commercial vehicles under the scheme will receive the prescribed OEM benefits as per the government's guidelines. The company will support customers throughout the replacement process, making it easier for fleet owners and commercial vehicle operators to upgrade to cleaner and more efficient vehicles.

Company Welcomes the Initiative

Commenting on the partnership, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, said the company is pleased to collaborate with the Government of India in modernising the commercial vehicle fleet in the Delhi-NCR region.

He added that the initiative aligns with Force Motors commitment to providing cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions for fleet operators and commercial vehicle customers while supporting the country's environmental goals.
