₹100 crore invested in the expanded Palwal facility
Annual production capacity increased to 24,000 vehicles
Dedicated line will build Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV
Turbo EV 1000 helped EV penetration reach 5.8%
Euler Motors holds an estimated 28% segment market share
Euler Motors has expanded its manufacturing footprint with the inauguration of a dedicated four-wheeler manufacturing line at its Palwal facility in Haryana. The expanded plant will manufacture the Turbo EV 1000, a one-tonne electric truck, and the Storm EV, India’s first commercial vehicle equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
With an investment overlay of ₹100 crore, Euler Motors now operates across a 40-acre site with an annual production capacity of up to 24,000 vehicles. The facility was inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, in the presence of Euler Motors' leadership team.
The dedicated four-wheeler production line has been established as Euler Motors scales its presence in India's electric commercial vehicle market. At full ramp-up, the facility will operate two shifts daily, supported by a third hybrid shift, to manufacture the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV.
The plant includes an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor line, dedicated vehicle assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery pack assembly line. Both vehicles have been designed and engineered specifically for Indian operating conditions and are supported by a deeply localised supply chain.
Euler Motors said the new manufacturing capacity will help the company meet the rising demand for its four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles while maintaining its standards for quality, reliability and performance.
The Turbo EV 1000 has played an important role in increasing electric vehicle adoption in the one-tonne four-wheeler cargo segment. According to Euler Motors, EV penetration in this category has increased from around 1% to 5.8% within just 10 months of the vehicle's launch.
During this period, Euler Motors has secured an estimated 28% market share in the segment.
Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, said the four-wheeler cargo market had remained dependent on internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles for years because electric vehicles had struggled to offer the right combination of performance and affordability.
He said the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV have helped address this gap. Euler Motors four-wheeler sales have also increased sharply, growing from around 40 vehicles per month in April last year to approximately 800 vehicles per month in June this year.
The Turbo EV 1000 has been positioned as the world's first one-tonne electric truck designed to outperform ICE vehicles on both performance and price, according to the company.
The Palwal facility will also manufacture the Euler Storm EV, which Euler Motors describes as India's first commercial vehicle equipped with ADAS.
The vehicle brings advanced safety technologies, including collision alerts and night vision assistance, to the commercial vehicle segment. Such technologies have traditionally been less accessible in this category, particularly in the light commercial vehicle space.
Together, the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV are aimed at offering electric alternatives in a four-wheeler light commercial vehicle segment that has remained predominantly dependent on ICE vehicles for decades.
Euler Motors has adopted a layered validation process at the Palwal facility, with testing integrated throughout different stages of manufacturing.
Critical vehicle systems, including suspension frames, drivetrain and steering systems, undergo rigorous testing to identify potential faults at an early stage.
Battery packs are tested under several conditions, including:
Thermal cycling
Thermal shock
Water wading
Drop testing
Vibration testing
Mechanical shock
Abuse testing under real-world load conditions
These tests are designed to monitor battery performance and degradation under demanding operating conditions. The company's electrical, mechanical and thermal systems are also fully validated before vehicles are delivered to customers.
Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Euler Motors, said commercial vehicles need to deliver consistent performance throughout their operating life.
He said Euler Motors has brought key vehicle components in-house, including the chassis, axles and battery pack, while subjecting every vehicle to rigorous testing based on India's real-world road and operating conditions. The new facility will allow the company to scale production without compromising its quality, reliability and performance standards.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Pawan Munjal said the future of mobility will be shaped by collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to sustainable growth.
He noted that India's commercial mobility sector is at an important turning point, with electrification gaining momentum due to supportive government policies, improving total-cost economics and rising demand for sustainable last-mile mobility.
According to Dr. Munjal, Hero MotoCorp's strategic investment in Euler Motors reflects its confidence in the company's vision and capabilities, as well as the wider potential of India's rapidly developing electric mobility ecosystem.
He said the expansion of Euler Motors Palwal facility represents more than an increase in manufacturing capacity. The dedicated four-wheeler production line is a step towards shaping the future of India's commercial mobility sector.
Dr. Munjal added that Euler Motors has demonstrated that electric commercial vehicles can offer the performance, economics and technology required by commercial customers. With the expanded facility, the company is now better positioned to take its products to a much larger scale.
He also said that combining the complementary strengths of the companies could help build a stronger EV ecosystem and accelerate India's transition towards cleaner, smarter and more efficient commercial mobility.
The new facility strengthens Euler Motors manufacturing footprint as the company continues to expand its four-wheeler business. The expansion is also expected to create skilled employment opportunities in the Palwal region.
All Euler Motors vehicles are designed and manufactured in India. With the new dedicated production line, the company now has the infrastructure to support increasing demand for the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV.
As electric adoption gradually grows in commercial segments traditionally dominated by ICE vehicles, Euler Motors is betting on manufacturing scale, localised production, in-house component capabilities and advanced technology to expand its presence.
The company’s rapid growth in four-wheeler sales, along with the increase in EV penetration in the one-tonne cargo segment, indicates growing acceptance of electric commercial vehicles. With capacity to manufacture up to 24,000 vehicles annually across its 40-acre Palwal facility, Euler Motors is now preparing for the next phase of growth in India's electric commercial vehicle market.

Euler Motors expanded Palwal facility marks a major step in scaling its four-wheeler electric commercial vehicle business. With ₹100 crore investment, 24,000-unit annual capacity and dedicated production for Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV, the company is strengthening its manufacturing capabilities. Rising sales, 28% segment market share and growing EV penetration highlight strong demand, while advanced testing, localisation and ADAS technology support its future growth plans in India.
