The new centre aims to strengthen technical skills and prepare students and commercial vehicle professionals for the future of the mobility industry.

7,900 Sq. Ft. Technical Training Facility

Spread across 7,900 sq. ft., the centre has been developed as a dedicated technical learning hub. It features dynamic driveline models, engine sections, diagnostic laboratories and a vehicle inspection pit to provide practical exposure to modern commercial vehicle technologies.

The facility will also have access to VECV's Training on Wheels mobile unit, further expanding hands-on learning opportunities.

Training for Students and Eicher Dealership Staff

The RCDC will train around 150 DCRUST engineering students every year. Students from mechanical, electrical and agricultural engineering streams will benefit from technical training and practical learning at the centre.

Along with students, the facility will support skill development for technical staff working across nearly 50 Eicher dealerships located in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh. This will help strengthen technical capabilities across Eicher's regional dealership network.

S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer at VE Commercial Vehicles, said that the future of the commercial vehicle industry will depend not only on advanced technologies but also on skilled professionals.

He added that the collaboration with DCRUST will help create a strong foundation for future-ready talent while contributing to a resilient mobility ecosystem.

With the new Murthal centre, Eicher is expanding its regional training infrastructure while connecting academic education with practical commercial vehicle skills. The initiative is expected to benefit engineering students as well as dealership technicians and support the growing demand for skilled talent in the commercial vehicle sector.
