Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) reported strong growth in its Construction Equipment Business during July 2026, with sales increasing by 49.2% year-on-year. The company attributed the performance to sustained infrastructure activity, continued government capital expenditure, a strong project pipeline, growing export opportunities, and a favourable base effect.

Construction Equipment Sales in July 2026

The Construction Equipment Business sold 534 machines in July 2026, compared to 358 machines in July 2025, registering a 49.2% increase.

According to the company, the sharp growth was primarily driven by a lower base following the implementation of BSV emission norms during the corresponding period last year. In addition, continued infrastructure development, strong government spending on capital projects, a healthy order pipeline, and increasing export opportunities supported demand during the month.

April-July FY27 Performance

For the April-July period of FY27, Escorts Kubota sold 1,878 construction equipment machines, up 32.9% from 1,413 units sold during the same period last year.

The company said that demand continues to remain supported by infrastructure-related activities. However, it also noted that geopolitical developments remain an important factor to monitor, as they could impact market sentiment, commodity prices, and overall business conditions in the coming months.
