EKA Mobility has taken a big step in India’s electric mobility journey by presenting four advanced electric vehicles (EVs) at the International Electric Convention & Green Mobility 2025, held from September 15–19 in New Delhi. The company claims this is the broadest commercial EV range displayed by any manufacturer at the event.
EKA Mobility showcased vehicles spanning heavy-duty trucks, buses, and three-wheelers, underlining its commitment to clean and profitable mobility solutions.
EKA 55T Heavy-Duty Truck – A powerful electric truck with a 43,000 kg payload capacity and 200 km range.
EKA 12M Bus – A 12-meter electric bus offering 250+ km range and equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
EKA 3W Cargo Three-Wheeler – Designed for last-mile delivery, it offers a 750 kg payload capacity and 200 km range.
EKA 6S Passenger Three-Wheeler – Features steering wheel control and comfortable seating for seven passengers.
EKA Mobility has already secured 3,300 confirmed orders across India and South Africa, including 2,000 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme, a major government initiative to promote electric public transport.
The company is operating under the theme “Sustainability with Profitability.” Alongside its EVs, EKA presented EKA Connect, an AI-powered fleet management platform. This technology enables predictive diagnostics and real-time efficiency monitoring, helping operators lower the total cost of ownership and improve vehicle uptime.
EKA Mobility, formerly known as Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., has strong global support through equity partnerships with Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands). All vehicles are manufactured in India under the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives, boosting domestic manufacturing and innovation.
Dr. Sudhir Mehta, founder and chairman of EKA Mobility, highlighted that the company’s mission is to make clean mobility sustainable and profitable. The company employs over 500 R&D professionals, with women forming a majority of its workforce – a rare achievement in the automotive industry.
The International Electric Convention & Green Mobility serves as a platform for automakers to showcase next-generation EV technologies. EKA Mobility’s strong presence reflects the growing role of Indian companies in shaping the future of commercial electric mobility, covering trucks, buses, and last-mile passenger and cargo solutions.
