EKA Mobility has announced a major expansion of its authorised dealer network as the company looks to strengthen its position in India’s growing electric commercial vehicle market. The company said it currently operates 60 dealerships across 15 states and plans to open more than 30 additional exclusive outlets in the near future.

The expansion is part of EKA Mobility’s strategy to improve access to electric commercial vehicles and strengthen after-sales support for customers involved in last-mile transportation. The company said the new dealerships are being developed across key logistics corridors, major urban centres, and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Focus on Last-Mile Mobility and EV Adoption

EKA Mobility stated that the growing demand for electric commercial vehicles in sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics, and public transport is driving the need for a stronger support network. The company aims to address some of the key challenges in EV adoption, especially limited service infrastructure and vehicle support availability in different regions.

According to the company, every dealership in its network will feature dedicated service facilities with at least two service bays, trained technicians, and spare parts support. This setup is expected to help fleet operators reduce vehicle downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Company Statement on Network Expansion

Speaking on the development, Rohit Srivastava, Business Head and Chief Growth Officer at EKA Mobility, said: “Last-mile connectivity is at the heart of India’s mobility transformation. As demand for electric commercial vehicles grows, it is important that customers have easy access not just to products, but also to dependable service and long-term support.”

Target of 200 Dealerships by FY27

EKA Mobility further revealed that it plans to expand its dealer network to more than 200 dealerships across over 20 states by FY27. The company believes this wider reach will support faster adoption of electric commercial vehicles across India.

Apart from dealership expansion, EKA Mobility offers a broad portfolio of electric commercial vehicles, including electric three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks. These vehicles are supported by the company’s fleet management platform, EKA Connect, which is designed to improve vehicle tracking, operational monitoring, and fleet efficiency.

Manufacturing Capacity Expansion Underway

The company also shared details about its manufacturing expansion plans. EKA Mobility is currently developing a 47-acre manufacturing facility at Pithampur. Once operational, and combined with its existing production facilities, the company expects its annual manufacturing capacity to reach 15,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles, and 4,000 trucks.

With rising demand for electric mobility solutions in India, EKA Mobility’s expanded dealership and manufacturing plans are expected to strengthen its presence in the country’s commercial EV segment while supporting the shift toward cleaner and sustainable transportation.
