The JCB VMT300 is built to deliver strong rolling output with reduced fuel use. Its compact size makes it perfect for essential tasks like road repairs, cycle path construction, landscaping, and small to medium compaction jobs. It focuses on ease of use, low maintenance, and consistent day-to-day performance, giving contractors a dependable and efficient option.
The machine comes with an advanced Stage 5-compliant three-cylinder diesel engine that delivers clean power without compromising performance. A 46-litre fuel tank ensures long operating hours and lower running costs. The simplified engine design has no after-treatment system, which reduces servicing needs and keeps maintenance affordable.
The VMT300 offers a 41.1 kN compaction force, providing deeper and more efficient compaction on various surfaces. Its 1.2-metre drum ensures wider ground coverage, making it suitable even for larger job sites. A 560 mm curb clearance allows the machine to compact edges and boundaries easily, reducing manual corrections and improving productivity.
To ensure smooth compaction, the machine includes a powerful water spray system that prevents material from sticking to the drum. This helps achieve a uniform, clean surface output, especially useful in asphalt and road repair work.
By launching the VMT300 at EXCON 2025, JCB has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering practical, efficient, and eco-friendly equipment for the construction industry. The model adds strength to the company’s growing product line, offering contractors a compact roller that blends performance, sustainability, and productivity.
