Key Highlights:

  • SafeLog launched for forklift operations.

  • Targets 10% downtime reduction.

  • Aims for 15% asset utilization improvement.

  • Works in low-connectivity environments.

  • AI-based upgrades planned in 3 years.

Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has introduced its latest innovation, the SafeLog Vehicle Monitoring System, an IoT-enabled solution designed for forklift operations. The launch took place on Wednesday under the company’s Material Handling Equipment (MHE) business, intending to transform industrial operations through connected technology.

Focus on Efficiency and Utilization

The SafeLog system is designed to reduce unplanned downtime by 10% and improve asset utilization by 15% in warehouses and intralogistics facilities. By integrating with GEG’s forklift range, the system ensures improved performance, safety, and reliability in industrial environments.

Real-Time Insights and Connectivity

SafeLog provides:

  • Real-time operational data

  • Maintenance alerts

  • Fleet analytics

The system works even in low-connectivity environments and stores data on Indian servers, ensuring compliance with national data security regulations.

Easy Access via Apps

The IoT solution is accessible through web platforms and mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. With proactive maintenance tools and analytics, businesses can make data-driven decisions to enhance productivity and reduce operational risks.

Industry Vision and Future Roadmap

SafeLog reflects our commitment to building intelligent, connected solutions for the material handling industry. It enables proactive maintenance, enhances safety, and delivers measurable value to our customers. With innovations like SafeLog, we continue to support the 'Make in India' vision while helping industries elevate their operational standards,” said Anil Lingayat, Business Head, MHE, Godrej Enterprises Group.

The company also revealed its plan to add artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to SafeLog within the next three years. These upgrades will enable predictive maintenance and usage-based solutions, further improving operational efficiency.

Strengthening "Make in India"

SafeLog is designed with a strong focus on usability, reliability, and scalability. Its launch supports GEG’s long-term strategy of offering digitally enabled, Made-in-India solutions for industrial operations. The solution comes at a time when material handling processes are becoming increasingly complex in warehouses and logistics centers.
