EKL launches new KA6 (21 HP) and KA8 (24 HP) rice transplanters.
Introduced across 7 states with high paddy mechanization demand.
Features include smart turning, auto lift, redesigned claws, and LED lights.
Improved accuracy and comfort for long field operations.
Designed to boost productivity, stability and profitability for farmers.
Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has launched its third-generation ride-on rice transplanters, the KA6 and KA8, in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Telangana. These new models come as demand for modern and mechanized paddy farming continues to rise across India.
The new transplanters are designed with fuel-efficient engines, offering 21 HP in the KA6 and 24 HP in the KA8. These machines promise better performance, lower fuel usage, and improved productivity in paddy fields.
Both KA6 and KA8 come with:
Smart turning system for effortless movement in fields
Automatic lift function for easy cornering
Multifunction control lever
Horizontal control mechanism ensuring uniform planting depth
The models also feature redesigned planting claws to reduce missed planting and ensure even seedling placement. An upgraded seedling picking guide improves planting accuracy, helping farmers achieve better crop growth and consistent yields.
To support long working hours, Escorts Kubota has added several operator-friendly enhancements:
Wider platform and better ergonomic layout
LED lights for working even after sunset
Lighter planting section and longer wheelbase for stability
Improved control for operating in deep wet fields and crossing ridges
These upgrades make the machines more reliable and comfortable for real field conditions.
Bharat Madan, CFO & Wholetime Director, said that mechanization is a national mission for Escorts Kubota: “India’s farmers have long carried the responsibility of feeding the nation. With the new KA Series, we aim to transform a labour-intensive process with precision, comfort, and innovation. By blending global technology with local insights, we continue to advance productivity, reliability, and prosperity for farmers.”
Rajan Chugh, Chief Officer, Agri Solutions, added: “The KA6 and KA8 are built to solve real challenges like labour shortages and long working hours. Their higher horsepower, smart turning and ergonomic design make rice transplanting faster, uniform, and more profitable.”
Escorts Kubota Limited is a trusted engineering company with over 80 years of experience. It manufactures tractors under the Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Kubota brands and offers a wide range of agricultural machinery and construction equipment.
