Designed for modern businesses, these vehicles aim to create a new wave of 'smart entrepreneurs.Equipped with advanced features like connected technologies, telematics, and app-based operations, they are perfect for tech-savvy entrepreneurs seeking efficiency and convenience.

Empowering Entrepreneurs with Innovation

Ashok Leyland’s existing models like the Dost and Bada Dost have already empowered countless entrepreneurs across India. Building on this legacy, SWITCH Mobility’s IeV3 and IeV4 introduce cutting-edge electric technology to the small commercial vehicle market. These E-SCVs offer modern business owners noise-free cabins, enhanced comfort, and a range of features tailored to meet the needs of today’s entrepreneurs.

Addressing Challenges in the E-SCV Market

The transition to electric small commercial vehicles comes with several challenges, such as the evolving nature of battery technology, high upfront costs, and limited charging infrastructure. However, SWITCH Mobility has tackled these issues head-on. The vehicles are built to provide cost savings over time, reducing operational expenses with lower maintenance and fuel costs. The savings can be significant, with the IeV3 and IeV4 offering monthly savings of INR 12,000 and INR 17,000, respectively, allowing businesses to recover the initial investment within two years.

Performance & Features of IeV3 and IeV4

Both the IeV3 and IeV4 offer excellent performance and advanced features:

  • IeV3: It has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 2,590 kg and can carry a payload of 1,250 kg. Powered by a 25.6 kWh lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery, it has a range of 140 km, making it ideal for urban transport needs. The IeV3 features a maximum speed of 70 km/h and can tackle a 22% gradient with ease.
  • IeV4: With a GVW of 3,490 kg and a payload capacity of 1,700 kg, the IeV4 is powered by a 32.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. It delivers a range of 130 km and a top speed of 80 km/h. This model is designed for heavier loads and more demanding conditions.

Both models come with innovative touch controls for gear shifting, Drive and Sports modes, electric power steering, and advanced suspension systems for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Advanced Telematics with iON App

One of the standout features of these E-SCVs is the iON app, a proprietary telematics solution that enhances operational efficiency. It provides real-time data and analytics, enabling businesses to optimize fleet management. The app also includes geo-fencing and other smart features that help drivers improve performance, resulting in up to a 10% boost in efficiency.

Cost Savings & Warranty

The total cost of ownership (TCO) for these vehicles is significantly lower than traditional diesel vehicles due to reduced wear and tear, as well as lower maintenance requirements. The vehicles come with impressive warranties—3 years or 150,000 kilometers for the vehicle, and up to 5 years or 150,000 kilometers for the battery, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.

Future of E-SCVs

With SWITCH Mobility's commitment to high reliability and impressive performance, these electric small commercial vehicles are set to drive the next generation of entrepreneurs. While there are still some features like HVAC and headrests that are absent, the company is continuously improving its designs to meet customer needs.

These E-SCVs mark a step towards a cleaner, smarter, and more efficient future, empowering new business owners to lead the way in modern entrepreneurship.

CMV360 Says

SWITCH Mobility's IeV3 and IeV4 E-SCVs are set to revolutionize small commercial transport by offering smart, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for modern entrepreneurs. With advanced features, reduced operating costs, and strong warranties, these vehicles pave the way for the next generation of sustainable and tech-driven businesses.
