
SANY India inaugurates a state-of-the-art factory in Pune, boosting production, localization, and supporting India’s infrastructure development.

SANY India, a leading name in construction equipment manufacturing, has unveiled a state-of-the-art factory expansion at its 90-acre manufacturing facility in Pune. This milestone strengthens the company’s commitment to boosting local production, meeting global demand, and supporting India’s growing infrastructure needs.
The new factory features cutting-edge, process-driven manufacturing technology, enabling SANY India to produce over 14,000 units annually. It also includes a robust fabrication capacity of more than 100,000 metric tons per year, positioning the company to cater to rising demand in the construction, mining, and energy sectors both in India and globally.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of SANY Group, along with senior leadership. Mr. Wenbo highlighted the importance of the new facility, stating, “This factory marks a major step in our journey to deliver world-class products with precision. By using the latest manufacturing technologies, we are prepared to address the challenges of today and meet future demands.”
He also emphasized India’s critical role in SANY’s global operations, calling it a cornerstone of the company’s strategy.

Mr. Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of SANY India, shared his enthusiasm for the expansion. He said, “This new facility demonstrates our commitment to the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Make in India.’ By increasing localization and enhancing exports to key markets, we are contributing to India’s manufacturing strength and infrastructure development.”
The factory expansion also ensures streamlined operations, reduced delivery timelines, and enhanced customer satisfaction, further solidifying SANY India’s leadership in the heavy equipment industry.
