Remsons Industries Limited has bought a 51.01% share in Astro Motors Private Limited for ₹14.22 crore. The deal was announced on April 9, 2025. Out of the total amount, ₹4.22 crore was given as shares, and ₹10 crore was paid in cash. Remsons Industries Limited is a well-known company that makes auto parts.

Astro Motors is currently growing its dealer network across India and plans to launch electric passenger vehicles in the next four to six months. The company aims to build a strong presence in a specific market segment and become one of the top five electric three-wheeler brands in India within the next three years.

This acquisition occurs when demand for last-mile delivery vehicles is increasing, driven by the growth of quick commerce and e-commerce in India. Electric three-wheelers are becoming more popular in the commercial vehicle industry as companies look for ways to cut costs and switch to cleaner transport options.

Astro Motors’ main product, the Astro Navya, is an electric three-wheeler with a payload capacity of 747 kg and can travel up to 131 km on a single charge. It runs on a 10.2 kWh battery.
