Montra Electric partnered with Steam-A. They will integrate the Iris EV Charging Management Suite into the Powerdock network. This collaboration aims to improve the charging infrastructure. It will support Montra’s growing electric small commercial vehicle (SCV) operations. The integration will bring Steam-A's AI-driven predictive maintenance system and real-time monitoring to Montra's charging stations. This technology aims to reduce downtime, cut operational costs, and provide valuable analytics for ongoing service improvement.

Vishwanath Surendiran, Co-founder of Steam-A, said the company aims to "deliver industry-leading standards of reliability and customer experience" through the partnership.

The partnership comes as Montra Electric expands its presence in the e-SCV market after launching its EVIATOR vehicle. The company has been working on developing the Powerdock network to support its growing customer base in commercial logistics.

India's EV charging infrastructure has been growing quickly to keep up with the rise in electric vehicle adoption. Industry analysts highlight that reliable charging networks are crucial for commercial fleet operators making the shift to electric vehicles, as downtime can directly affect business operations.
