700 Tata Ace EV and Ace Pro EVs to be deployed across 10 cities.
Partnership expected to reduce 2,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually.
Over 25 million kilometers of electric deliveries per year.
Dealers own and maintain vehicles; MoEVing manages operations.
MoEVing aims to double its EV fleet by March 2026.
In a major step toward sustainable logistics, MoEVing has announced a partnership with three authorized Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle dealers, Pascos, Johar Automobiles, and Bhandari Automotive, to deploy 700 electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs) for last-mile delivery operations. This collaboration will help reduce carbon emissions by around 2,000 tonnes annually while supporting India’s Net Zero 2070 goal.
The new electric fleet will include the Tata Ace EV and Ace Pro EV models. These vehicles will be deployed across 10 major Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Through this initiative, MoEVing will enable more than 25 million kilometers of electric deliveries every year, contributing significantly to the reduction of urban pollution and operational emissions.
The vehicles will cater to over 20 enterprise clients across diverse industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, and logistics, providing efficient and clean transportation solutions for last-mile delivery needs.
The collaboration introduces an innovative business model where Tata Motors dealers will own and maintain the electric vehicle fleet, while MoEVing will manage the day-to-day operations. This model aims to simplify fleet management, reduce ownership complexities, and make electric vehicle adoption more accessible for businesses.
According to Vikash Mishra, Founder and CEO of MoEVing, this partnership will accelerate the transition toward zero-emission logistics in India. He stated that the operational lease model offers a cost-effective way for businesses to deploy EVs while ensuring smooth fleet operations and lower maintenance costs.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head of SCVPU at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, highlighted the company’s strong commitment to advancing electric mobility in India. He emphasized that the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV have been designed for superior performance and reliability under various operational conditions, with flexible load deck configurations to meet different business needs.
To support this growing EV ecosystem, Tata Motors has established over 200 EV support centers across India, ensuring easy access to maintenance and service facilities.
MoEVing currently operates more than 2,500 electric vehicles, including over 500 four-wheel electric cargo vehicles, which is regarded as the largest such fleet in India. The company serves over 75 clients from sectors such as FMCG, e-commerce, grocery, furniture, and third-party logistics.
Founded in 2021, MoEVing focuses on electric mobility solutions for logistics and aims to double its four-wheel EV fleet by March 2026. The company is also developing intercity electric logistics operations and utilizes data-driven fleet management systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
The MoEVing–Tata Motors dealer partnership marks a major milestone in India’s shift toward sustainable last-mile logistics. By combining MoEVing’s operational expertise with Tata Motors reliable electric vehicles, this initiative is set to make a significant impact in reducing emissions, lowering costs, and promoting eco-friendly urban deliveries across the country.
