​​Mahindra Group has opened a new state-of-the-art 3S dealership in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, aiming to strengthen its presence in the commercial vehicle sector. The facility features 12 service bays and can handle more than 15 vehicles per day. It also provides driver lodging, 24x7 breakdown assistance, and AdBlue availability for customers.​

Dealership Expansion and Service Network

With this new dealership, Mahindra Trucks and Buses, along with SML, now operate over 200 3S dealerships and more than 400 service touchpoints across India. This extensive network supports both trucks and buses, ensuring comprehensive customer service nationwide.

Mr. Vinod Sahay, Chairman of SML Mahindra and Mahindra Advanced Technologies and President of Mahindra Aerospace, Trucks and Buses, stated that the company is committed to delivering world-class customer care. He highlighted that Mahindra Group currently holds close to 7% market share in trucks and buses, and a 24% market share in I&LCV buses.

The company has set ambitious targets, aiming to increase its truck and bus market share to 10–12% by the financial year 2031 and to over 20% by 2036.

Customer-Centric Offerings and Service Guarantees

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Executive Director and CEO of SML Mahindra and Business Head of Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, emphasized the company's focus on customer-centric solutions. Mahindra offers advanced telematics through its iMAXX system, providing fleet owners with enhanced control over their operations.

Mahindra’s commercial vehicle range, including BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO, is the only lineup in India supported by dual service guarantees. These guarantees ensure that vehicles are back on the road within 48 hours. If this target is not met, customers receive compensation of Rs. 1,000 per day. Additionally, authorized dealer workshops guarantee a turnaround time of 36 hours, with compensation of Rs. 3,000 per day for any delays.

The new Chennai dealership reflects Mahindra Group’s ongoing efforts to expand its service infrastructure and market reach. The company continues to focus on growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction in India’s commercial vehicle industry.
