Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM), the electric commercial vehicle division of Jupiter Wagons Ltd., has opened its first retail showroom in Hyderabad. The new facility, located at New Bowenpally, Secunderabad, is operated in partnership with Arven Motors Private Limited. This launch brings JEM’s flagship electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV), the JEM TEZ, to Telangana’s growing urban logistics sector.

A Step Towards National Growth

The Hyderabad showroom marks a major step in JEM’s nationwide expansion. The city was chosen for its strong logistics and e-commerce presence, well-developed warehouses, and government support for electric mobility. Its central location also makes it a strategic hub for businesses aiming for regional reach.

Complete Customer Experience

The facility is designed to provide customers with a complete buying and service journey. It offers vehicle displays, test drives, and expert consultations, helping buyers understand the real-world performance of the JEM TEZ. The setup also ensures easy access to purchase and after-sales support for local logistics operators, fleet businesses, and small enterprises.

JEM TEZ – The Flagship Electric LCV

The JEM TEZ is a four-wheeler eLCV with a 1.05-ton payload capacity. It is ideal for intra-city transport, last-mile deliveries, and FMCG distribution. The vehicle features an 80kW peak motor and delivers a certified range of over 300 km, with a practical range of around 190 km under typical conditions.

It also offers 23% gradeability for handling city slopes and is equipped with telematics, enabling fleet operators to monitor performance and efficiency. With low running costs, reliability, and modern features, the TEZ is positioned as a smart choice for businesses.

Why Hyderabad?

Hyderabad has become a fast-growing logistics and e-commerce hub. The state’s supportive EV adoption policies, coupled with strong warehousing infrastructure, make it a prime market for electric commercial vehicles. For JEM, the launch in Hyderabad is about strengthening trust with businesses that need efficient and sustainable mobility solutions.

Leadership and Voices from the Launch

The showroom was inaugurated by Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, along with G.V. Suresh Babu, Founder of Arven Motors, and senior JEM executives, including CEOs Gaurav Jalota and Kartik Hajela.

Speaking at the event, Lohia highlighted Hyderabad’s growing logistics ecosystem and EV-friendly policies as the key reasons for choosing the city. He added that the JEM TEZ is built to serve urban freight needs with better performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

Building a Wider EV Ecosystem

JEM is working to develop a strong support network by partnering with companies like Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin. These partnerships will strengthen charging infrastructure, financing, and after-sales services. The company has also launched the ‘JEM Udaan’ program, offering business solutions and connectivity for drivers and fleet owners.

Future Expansion

The Hyderabad facility is the starting point of JEM’s larger expansion plan across South and West India. The company will soon set up new showrooms in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram.

As a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Ltd., JEM is focused on delivering purpose-built electric commercial vehicles while also investing in battery technology and an integrated EV ecosystem to power India’s logistics sector sustainably.
