The 10 new machines are part of a larger display of 21 machines, covering excavators, wheel loaders, access platforms, agricultural equipment and gensets. JCB said all these products are designed, engineered and manufactured at its six production facilities in India.

JCB 3DX Backhoe Loader Range Leads New Launches

The main attraction is JCB’s new backhoe loader range, comprising the 3DX, 3DX Plus and 3DX Super. All three models are powered by JCB’s 430 engine, producing 440 Nm of torque. JCB also claims that fuel efficiency across its backhoe loader range has improved by 21% over the past few years.

The 3DX is designed mainly for excavation applications, while the 3DX Plus offers higher shovel capacity and payload. The 3DX Super gets standard four-wheel drive, a six-in-one shovel and deeper digging capability.

The Plus and Super models also feature redesigned cabins with a new rotary dial, updated displays, revised seats and a mobile charging point.

Nine Other Machines Unveiled

The JCB 150 FM excavator offers an 8% improvement in fuel efficiency, along with a 0.75 cu.m bucket and in-cab fuel monitoring.

The JCB 225 XT gets a wider upper frame, reinforced side doors and a new 1.1 cu.m bucket, which JCB says delivers 5% higher productivity per digging cycle.

For compact applications, the JCB 18Z mini excavator uses a zero-tail-swing design and retractable undercarriage for working in confined spaces.

The new AGRIMAX 4WD tractor comes with clutch-free operation and a synchro shuttle transmission. Meanwhile, the G160QI CPCB IV genset is designed for sustained power applications. Its Intelli Sync technology allows two 160 kVA units to synchronise for a combined 320 kVA output, with remote monitoring through JCB LiveLink 4.0.

The 475-5 wheel loader is powered by a 320 HP Cummins engine, paired with a ZF Ergo II transmission and load-sensing hydraulics.

The final new launch is the A60E access platform, which is manufactured in India and exported globally. The US is the largest export market for JCB India’s access platform range.

Technology and Existing Machines on Display

JCB also demonstrated its digital solutions, including LiveLink, which provides real-time machine monitoring, remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance. Parts Online enables digital parts ordering, while the Training Simulator supports operator training.

The existing product range on display includes the JCB 81 Eco+ excavator, offering 15% better fuel efficiency, and the NXT 215 Fuel Master, which uses IntelliFlow hydraulics for 14% higher fuel efficiency and Power Boost for up to 9% higher hydraulic force.

The 345LC HD excavator, powered by a 221 HP JCB ecoMAX engine, and the 520X LC, JCB India’s first 50-tonne-class excavator with 400 HP and up to a 3.4 cu.m bucket, are also showcased. Soil compactors, telehandlers, skid steer loaders and additional mini excavators complete the display.

JCB India Manufacturing and Export Network

JCB India operates six manufacturing facilities and exports its machines to more than 135 countries. Its dealer network includes over 65 dealers and 700 outlets, supported by nearly 8,000 employees.

The company has also highlighted workforce diversity at its manufacturing plants, with women accounting for 34% of the shopfloor workforce at Jaipur and 52% at Vadodara.

bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 is being held at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida and brings together construction, building material and mining machinery manufacturers and industry professionals.
