September 2025’s data shows contrasting trends in the e-cart and e-rickshaw markets. The e-cart segment continues to grow, driven by increasing demand for goods transportation and last-mile delivery solutions. In contrast, the e-rickshaw market is facing a downturn, with key players like YC Electric, Saera Electric, and Dilli Electric experiencing a decline in sales both month-on-month and year-on-year.

The growth in e-carts is a positive sign for India’s transition to eco-friendly transportation, particularly in urban logistics. Meanwhile, the slowdown in e-rickshaw sales suggests a shift in the passenger transport sector’s dynamics.
