Blue Energy Motors, a green fuel truck manufacturer, has produced its 500th truck at its smart manufacturing Chakan site in Pune.

Impact on Emissions
Blue Energy Motors’ fleet of LNG (liquefied natural gas) trucks has collectively traveled over 20 million kilometers. This achievement has resulted in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, cutting down over 5,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, according to the company’s press release.
Introduction of BE 5528+ Tractor
In September 2022, Blue Energy Motors introduced its first model, the BE 5528+ tractor, marking the company's entry into the LNG-powered truck industry. This truck has played a crucial role in reducing the carbon footprint of the logistics operations in the cement and steel sectors.
The BE 5528+ features advanced FPT multipoint stoichiometric combustion engine technology, offering best-in-class total cost of ownership (TCO) and quieter operation compared to traditional fuel-powered trucks.
Future Expansion Plans
Blue Energy Motors currently has a manufacturing capacity of 10,000 trucks, with the potential for further expansion as market demand grows.
