Segment-wise Gross CV Sales for February 2025

Performance: The company recorded a 2.73% increase in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including a 1% growth in the M&HCV and a 5% growth in the LCV category.

Category-wise Breakdown: In February 2025, the M&HCV truck category sold 8,922 CVs, up from 8,837 in February 2024. For the LCV category in February 2025, 6,417 CVs were sold, compared to 6,095 in February 2024.

Domestic Commercial Vehicle Sales decreased by 1.57%

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 1.57% decrease in sales, with 14,137 commercial vehicles sold in February 2025, compared to 14,363 units in February 2024.

Segment-wise Domestic Sales Performance

M&HCV Truck Segment: The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck category reported a slight decline of 3% in sales, with 8,368 units sold in February 2025 compared to 8,656 units in February 2024.

LCV Category: The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category sales remained stable, with a slight increase of 1%. The company sold 5,769 units in February 2025, compared to 5,707 units in February 2024.

Ashok Leyland Export sales

Export sales increased by 111.25%

On a positive note, the company experienced a 111.25% growth in export sales, with 1,202 units shipped in February 2025, up from 569 units in February 2024.

Segment-wise Export Sales Performance

Growth in M&HCV Category: Export sales in the M&HCV category experienced a growth of 206.08%, with 554 units sold in February 2025, compared to 181 units in February 2024.

Growth in LCV Category: Ashok Leyland witnessed a growth in sales of 67.01% in the LCV category, with 648 units sold in February 2025, up from 388 units in February 2024.
