Segment-wise Gross CV Sales for January 2025

Performance: The company recorded a 4.50% increase in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including a 6% growth in the M&HCV and a 2% growth in the LCV category.

Category-wise Breakdown: In January 2025, the M&HCV truck category sold 8,269 CVs, up from 7,770 in January 2024. For the LCV category in January 2025, 5,829 CVs were sold, compared to 5,721 in January 2024.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 2.13% increase in sales, with 13,302 commercial vehicles sold in January 2025, compared to 13,025 units in the January 2024.

Segment-wise Domestic Sales Performance 

M&HCV Truck Segment: The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck category reported a growth of 3% in sales, with 7,839 units sold in January 2025 compared to 7,581 units in January 2024.

LCV Category: The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category sales remained stable, with a slight increase to 5,463 units in January 2025 from 5,444 units in January 2024.
