Ashok Leyland, one of India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has reported a strong sales performance for July 2026. The company sold 17,129 commercial vehicles (CVs) across domestic and export markets, registering a 40% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 12,202 units sold in July 2025.

The impressive performance was supported by healthy demand in the domestic market and a sharp increase in exports. Both the Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segments recorded strong growth during the month.

Ashok Leyland Domestic CV Sales Grow 37% in July 2026

Ashok Leyland sold 16,253 commercial vehicles in the domestic market during July 2026, compared to 11,874 units in July 2025, registering a 37% YoY growth.

The M&HCV segment remained the company's biggest contributor, while the LCV business also continued to witness healthy demand across India.

Export Sales More Than Double in July 2026

Ashok Leyland's export business recorded exceptional growth during the month. The company exported 876 commercial vehicles in July 2026, compared to 328 units in July 2025, delivering an impressive 167% YoY increase.

The M&HCV export segment witnessed the highest growth, with volumes increasing by 226%, while LCV exports more than doubled during the same period.
