Ashok Leyland, one of India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has announced its sales performance for June 2026. The company recorded 16,654 commercial vehicle (CV) sales across domestic and export markets, registering a 37% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 12,161 units sold in June 2025.

The strong performance was supported by healthy demand across both the Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segments. The company also witnessed robust growth in domestic sales as well as exports, marking a positive start to the second quarter of FY2026-27.

Domestic CV Sales Rise 37% in June 2026

Ashok Leyland sold 16,239 commercial vehicles in the domestic market during June 2026, compared to 11,869 units in June 2025. This represents a 37% YoY increase, reflecting continued demand from fleet operators and transport businesses.

Domestic Sales Performance

The M&HCV truck segment delivered the strongest performance with a 44% growth, while the LCV segment also posted a healthy 28% increase over the same period last year.

Export Sales Grow 42%

Ashok Leyland also recorded strong momentum in its export business. The company exported 415 commercial vehicles in June 2026, compared to 292 units in June 2025, registering a 42% YoY growth.

The export performance was led by M&HCV trucks, which grew by 53%, while LCV exports increased by 36%.
