Partnership with Hyster-Yale since 2010.
TIL Limited has reached a major milestone in its journey by rolling out the 400th Hyster-TIL ReachStacker from its Kharagpur manufacturing plant. This achievement showcases India's growing capabilities in industrial equipment manufacturing, especially in the highly technical material handling sector.
TIL began producing ReachStackers in 2010. Since then, the company has seen steady growth in production, proving its strength in engineering and manufacturing. In a segment typically led by global OEMs, TIL's journey stands out as a strong example of Indian potential in heavy machinery.
The latest Hyster-TIL ReachStacker model comes with a 46-tonne lifting capacity. It includes several modern features designed to improve both performance and operator experience:
IoT-enabled real-time performance tracking
Ergonomically designed cabin with all-around visibility
Fuel-saving ECO-mode operations
These features are especially useful in ports and logistics hubs that need to cut emissions and increase efficiency.
TIL has already exported over 40 ReachStackers to countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East. These exports are done in partnership with Hyster-Yale, TIL’s long-time global collaborator since 2010. The growing demand for TIL’s machines outside India highlights the rising trust in Indian-made port handling equipment.
The Kharagpur plant is the only facility in India with a dedicated ReachStacker testing track. It is fitted with advanced CNC machines and follows strict quality control procedures, including:
GPS-enabled braking verification
Structured load testing systems
This world-class setup ensures that every machine meets global standards, boosting TIL’s ability to compete in international markets.
